Camp in the Community, a ministry of the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church, is seeking a full-time, year-round Assistant Director to assist in the day-to-day operations of camp, staff recruiting and hiring, church training, and implementing traveling camp programs. Camp in the Community will have their first ACA accreditation visit this summer. Camp in the Community has grown exponentially since it’s inception in 2011, from serving 77 campers per summer to serving 1204 campers in the summer of 2019. This growth has created a need for an Assistant Director to share the load and grow this ministry.
