Description: Summer Help Wanted – Sawtooth United Methodist Camp
Would You Like to Spend the Summer in a Mountain Paradise?
If your answer is yes, you can get paid, fed, and have a place to live while working in a mountain paradise.
What do you do while here? You help run Sawtooth United Methodist Camp for three months (Jun-Aug) as part of a small management team. Sawtooth Camp is 120 acres in central Idaho surrounded by the Sawtooth National Forest on three sides. The South Fork of the Boise River flows through the camp. There will be times you are really busy helping to maintain the camp for children and adults. You will work outside maintaining the premises, work inside helping in the kitchen, maintain cabins and restroom/showers (yeah, there is that). Your work will support a variety of people of different ages. Just about every day will be different.
And then there will be downtime, sometimes a few hours, sometimes a day or two. But you won’t be bored! Your off-time can be spent lazing around, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, exploring and any of the numerous things a mountain retreat offers.
We are people dedicated to creating quality environments of Christian hospitality and learning. We serve religiously affiliated groups, schools, and educational bodies, families, service organizations and other non-profit groups who enrich life in the world.
