In an age of iPhones, YouTube and social Media, we are facing an even greater challenge in getting young people’s attention and inciting an excitement for the Bible. Schools are moving towards and emphasis in STEAM studies (science, technology, engineering, art and math) to move our students into a new age of learning and the Bible is no exception. In this workshop, we will look at the Bible through hand-on science experiments, artistic experiences and object lessons to bring the Bible beyond a story we read and into a reality in our daily lives. Experiment with salt to understand how we are the salt of the earth. Make enough toothpaste for an elephant to understand the feeding of the 5,000. And physically feel how hard it is to keep your anger in without exploding. Be prepared to play and interact in the hands-on workshop.
