East Bay Camp and Retreat Center is part of the Illinois Great Rivers Conference of the United Methodist Church. Just 20 minutes outside of Bloomington/Normal, Illinois, the lake front facility includes dorm, cabin, and RV accommodations. The Assistant Manager: Maintenance provides oversite and hands on skill/expertise to maintain the site and facilities year-round. General experience in the areas of automotive/mechanics, renovations/construction, landscaping, plumbing, electrical, and HV/AC is ideal. Pool operation experience a plus. This position will share hosting duties, provide direction to volunteer work teams, and has the opportunity to be trained/lead in programming in areas such as hayrides, tree-climbing, archery, boating and swimming. Communication skills, both written and verbal, are critical for working with other team members and to ensure compliance with the ACA, IDPH & the EPA. Must have a valid driver's license. The home provided with this position is a four bedroom, three bath house located on the property. It is zoned for excellent school in Unit 5 / McLean County.
Salary Range/Compensation: $38,000-42,000 + benefits + 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home
