The Holston Conference of The United Methodist Church is seeking a Camp and Retreat Ministries (CRM) Administrator to assist and support the Executive Director of CRM in the daily camping operations. The CRM Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining all office functions associated with the business operations of CRM. This is an in-office position working out of the Holston Conference Office in Alcoa, TN.

Essential Functions:

•    Supporting the Executive Director of CRM in all functions related to camping ministry operations.
•    Responsible for maintaining and operating the summer registration system.
•    Maintaining and operating the system for scheduling and billing camp retreat operations.
•    Assisting site directors with local office, business management, and promotions.
•    Coordinating and managing the major promotional material development and distribution.
•    Maintaining all CRM office files, correspondence, and reports.
•    Serving as a primary customer service agent.
•    Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising office assistant(s).
•    Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications: 

•    High School diploma or equivalent.
•    A minimum of 2 years’ office management experience is required.
•    Skilled in filing, word processing, proofing, composing, organizing, and other office management duties. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) required.
•    Knowledge of budgeting, accounting procedures, database operations, handling correspondence, etc.
•    Proven interpersonal skills, and the ability to deal with customers with grace.
•    Strong attention to detail with efficiency.
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills.
