Recommended Airport information
George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)

Arrival Date: January 27, 2025

Departure Date: January 31, 2025

For those flying into the event, we are recommending using George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) near Houston, Texas. IAH is 60 miles from Camp Allen. IAH supports all major carriers, including: American, Delta, Frontier, Jet Blue, Southwest, Spirit, and United.

 

Shuttle Service

We will also be providing round-trip shuttle service from IAH for an additional $67 per person (or $40 per person one way.) More information about shuttle service can be found below. IAH also has most major car rental providers on site.

Arival: January 27, 2025 at 3:30 PM 

Location: Terminal C door C103 IAH to Camp Allen Conference & Retreat Center

Depature: January 31, 2025 at 8:30 AM

Location: Camp Allen Conference & Retreat Center to IAH (location to be determined closer to time)

Shuttle Service

Shuttle service will be provided from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). If there is enough demand for a shuttle from William P Hobby Airport (HOU), we may add an additional shuttle from there. To request a spot on the shuttle service, please select round-trip or either one-way option on your registration.

Arrival shuttle(s) from IAH 

Shuttle departure from IAH: 

  • Monday, Jan 27th, times TBA, but first shuttle anticipated at 3:30 pm (CST)
    • Please make every effort to book your flight to arrive before 3:00 pm (CST) to allow ample time to collect your luggage
    • We are planning on having two shuttles. Pick up times will be determined closer to the event, when we better understand demand
    • A table with UMCRM and National Gathering signage will be near baggage claim
    • We will make every effort to adjust departure times due to delays and weather
    • Cost: $67 for round trip or $40 for Monday arrival shuttle only

Departure shuttle to Airport:

  • There will only be ONE shuttle departure time from Camp Allen on  
    January 31st at 8:30am (EST)
    • We will arrive at IAH by roughly 10:00 am (CST)
    • We will arrive at HOU (if required) by roughly 11:00 am (CST)
    • There will be no earlier shuttle departure times
    • Make sure to leave enough time between arrival at terminal and departure of your flight in order to make it through airport security. We highly recommend that you book your flight to depart no earlier than noon (CST)
    • Cost: $67 for round trip or $40 for Friday departure shuttle only

William P. Hobby Airport (HOU)

68 miles from Camp Allen. South of Houston. Will take roughly 1 hour 30 minutes to drive. Serves American, Delta, Allegiant, and Frontier & a major hub for Southwest.

**If demand is great enough, UMCRM will offer shuttle a shuttle for those arriving prior to 3:30pm CST.  Shuttle is not guaranteed until demand is high enough**
