UMCRM is excited to be a partner in Rhythms of Faith, a project aimed at positively impacting family faith practices with camps as the catalyst. This project is a 5-year, nationwide, cross-denominational initiative coordinated by Honeyrock, Wheaton College’s Center for Leadership Development, in partnership with Sacred Playgrounds, and generously funded by Lilly Endowment Inc.

The project seeks faith formation through partnership: among parents/caregivers; among camps, congregations, and the home; among practitioners and the academy; among different Christian traditions. This project brings together scholars and practitioners from Lutheran, United Methodist, and Evangelical traditions.

Currently, there are three ways to get involved:

  • Learn more and share about the project at and sign up to receive updates.
  • Apply to participate as an outdoor ministry organization.
  • Share current resources, best practices, and successful models for connecting camp and families from a family faith formation and practice perspective. #rhythmsoffaith
