Are you interested in serving a new revitalized ministry in the Finger Lakes region of New York? Casowasco Camp & Retreat Center will be reopening on April 1, 2026, after a year-long sabbatical to revision and strengthen our ministry to the Upper New York Conference of the United Methodist Church. We are seeking a part-time Assistant Director to help us in carrying forth this new vision.
The Assistant Director will have responsibilities in three key areas:
- Program Leadership
Work in conjunction with the Site Director to design, develop, implement, administer, and evaluate programs, special events, retreats, workshops, and other programs.
- Facility Oversight: Public Relations, Marketing, and Promotion
Visit churches, youth groups, and other groups to promote and interpret the ministry, programs, and operations of the site.
- Facility Oversight
Share responsibility for hosting guests and groups. Assist with administrative functions of the site. Assist with meal preparation, clean-up, and housekeeping as needed.
