Sumatanga Camp & Conference Center is hiring a Director of Programming!
1,400 acres on Chandler Mountain in Gallant, Alabama. Woods, streams, a lake. Campers laughing. Church groups growing in faith. Families and friends finding rest. And you at the center, making it all come alive!
As our Director of Programming, you will: • Dream up and lead programs for children, youth and adults • Lead summer camp and build a team of staff and volunteers who love what they do • Spread the word about Sumatanga to churches, alumni and hosted groups • Greet every guest with Christ-centered hospitality You bring: • 3+ years in church programming or outdoor education • Leadership experience with staff and volunteers • Marketing and communication skills • A faith rooted in the Methodist tradition • A warm heart, a self-starter spirit and a love of camp
Location: Gallant, Alabama
Reports to: Executive Director We are a Related Ministry of the North Alabama Conference of The United Methodist Church and a ministry partner with all Methodists and churches in the Wesleyan tradition. Ready to shape unforgettable camp experiences for the next generation?
