Serving a wide variety of groups, Ceta Canyon Camp & Retreat Center, a year-round facility, is uniquely located in a tributary of the Palo Duro Canyon approximately 40 miles south of Amarillo, TX.
The ideal candidate for this position must have a strong desire to serve in a Christian Camp Environment.
Coordination of activity schedules with group leaders, and ensuring that all activities are set up and in safe working condition prior to guest arrival.
Provide strong supervision to oversee all the activities while in operation.
Be actively involved in the recruiting, training, mentoring, and ministering to Summer and Part-time staff.
Supervise all Program, Aquatic, and Challenge Course staff.
Be a well-organized and self-motivated individual who also shares a love of servanthood and is of good Christian character, as is foundational to our Christian Camp.
Help during the off-season as needed with maintenance and projects.
Required qualifications:
Challenge course level 1 certification or able to certify within 90 days of employment
Lifeguard or the ability to become certified.
CPR / First aid certified or the ability to become certified
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Other Skills/Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using camping software.
Proven experience in leadership, programming and Christian Camping.
Salary Range/Compensation Package: $30,000-36,000. Ceta Canyon offers 11 paid holidays, health insurance, retirement match, paid vacation, and sick time.
