Job Description:
Responsible for: the proper care of the property, buildings and equipment, including preventive maintenance, repair and replacement, if necessary; the training, evaluation, and supervision of staff and volunteers to achieve the above; providing input to the Executive Director on needed capital purchases; budgetary oversight of applicable expense line items, including but not limited to supplies, repairs and salaries.

Tasks:
Articulate the mission, vision and values, serving as a representative of Pecometh’s ministry in all instances, in both word and deed.
Maintain a list of routine duties and tasks which are needed for safe and efficient operation of the facilities.
Perform routine duties and tasks in accordance with schedule set up in agreement with the Executive Director.
With the approval of the Executive Director, hire and supervise additional staff needed for maintenance and groundskeeping.
Work with the Executive Director and Director of Program Ministries to be sure specific program needs are met with regard to property/equipment.
Coordinate work of volunteers in making repairs or improvements to facilities and work with the Development Assistance to administer the Cabin Adoption program.
Oversee recycling program.
Responsible for scheduled upkeep and repair of equipment and facilities; making recommendations to the Executive Director regarding contracts for service or repair of facilities or equipment.
Responsible for ensuring the provision of services and maintenance within budgetary restrictions; making recommendations to the Executive Director regarding budgetary needs for facilities.
Responsible for the Information Technology Infrastructure including, but not limited to internet availability, network connections and telephone systems.
Available for emergency situations concerning the physical operation of the site or concerning guests' needs.
Provide 24-hour maintenance on-call coverage and security with other staff.
In the absence of the Executive Director, Director of Program Ministries, Director of Retreat Ministries, provide emergency contact as required.
Cooperate with and support the Director of Program Ministries to ensure responsibilities related to maintenance are carried out.
Cooperate with and support Food Service Manager on health inspections and maintenance issues.
Cooperate with and support the Challenge Course Manager for maintenance needs, safety, element adjustments, new construction and other needs as arise.
Cooperate with and support the Director of Retreat Ministries with guest group requirements and needs.
Cooperate with and support the appropriate staff person on equipment inventories and fiscal matters, i.e. invoices, shipping documents, purchases, etc.
Other duties as negotiated.
Salary Range/Compensation Package: $42,000-48,000 plus benefits, housing may be available.
