The Summer Food Service Manager is a seasonal, hands-on leader responsible for planning and delivering safe, efficient, and welcoming meal service for camp guests during the summer season. Reporting to the Assistant Camp Director, this role focuses on short-term, high-volume food production, supervising temporary kitchen teams, and ensuring excellent guest experience across back-to-back group stays. Overview of the Role: - Coordinate all aspects of meal service from the kitchen to the dining room with a focus on timeliness, quality, and guest satisfaction. - Manage all kitchen logistics, including food ordering, vendor relations, inventory, equipment use, and maintenance. - Create and maintain kitchen staff work schedules, coordinate team responsibilities, manage hours and break times. - Plan and execute menus tailored to consecutive group bookings, balancing nutrition, cost, and ease of service. Menu templates from past seasons are available. - Ensure safety and sanitary compliance of kitchen with local, state, and federal regulations.

Salary Range/Compensation Package:  $3,658.33/month
