I get bored with church and with a lot of our standard instincts when it comes to camp worships, singing contemporary Christian songs or hymns I barely like and listening to someone talk or read while we all just sit still. I am much more drawn to art, movement, drama, etc., which we do on our best days, but I want to talk about the edges of what we're trying and experimenting with that might lead to totally new or old/new ways to encounter God. Delving more into the secular, different cultural and religious traditions, mashups, movies, new technology, even old practices. How is our faith adapting to these rapidly changing times and the rapidly changing ways we encounter it? How is that being borne in our personal spiritual practices, and how might we share this more readily in community, so we don't feel like we're on spiritual islands?
