Airport: Reno–Tahoe International Airport (RNO)

For those flying into the event, we are recommending using Reno–Tahoe International Airport (RNO) in Reno NV. RNO is 53 miles from the convention site. RNO supports all major carriers. (American, Delta, Frontier, Jet Blue, Southwest, United). We will also be providing round-trip shuttle service from RNO – details below. RNO also has most major car rental providers on site.

Shuttle Information
New and improved shuttle experience coming to the 2027 National Gathering!

Parking is EXTREMELY limited at Zephyr Point. Even with carpooling, our group will not fit with the usual amount of cars we bring. Parking spots that are available are inconvenient to most lodging options and many could be covered in snow!  This year we will be implementing a $40 parking pass per vehicle to those who choose to rent a vehicle and park on site. 

Please utilize our shuttle if you are able!

Our shuttle wait times are drastically shorter than years past and it is cheaper to ride than rent a vehicle for the week! 

Round-trip shuttle services will be provided from Reno-Tahoe International Airport ONLY. In order to request a spot on the shuttle service, please purchase 1 ticket add-on per person.  

  • RNO Only
  • $67 for round trip
  • $33 for single trip
  • Rolling shuttle departure times from RNO: Jan 24 at 2pm (PDT) until 5pm (PDT)
    • Please make every effort to book arrival times at least one hour prior to 5pm
    • We will have twelve passenger vans making rolling pick-ups (roughly every 30 minutes)
      • Exact schedule will be communicated at a later date
    • A table with UMCRM and National Gathering signage will be near baggage claim
    • We will adjust departure times due to delays and weather
    • No one will be left behind!
  • ONE shuttle departure time from convention: Jan 28 at 7:00am (PDT)
    • We will arrive at RNO by roughly 8:15 am (PDT)
    • There will be no earlier shuttle departure times
    • Make sure to leave enough time between arrival at terminal and departure of your flight in order to make it through airport security
